Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe Cantaloupe
  • 1 package Italian Prosciutto good quality

Instructions
 

  • Cut the Cantaloupe in half and remove the seeds with a spoon.
    1 ripe Cantaloupe
  • Slice each half into wedges along the green lines on the rind.
  • Use a knife to gently remove the fruit from the rind.
  • Wrap the Prosciutto around the melon slices.
    1 package Italian Prosciutto
  • Optionally, add toppings or garnish before serving. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
  • Cantaloupe: Make sure you get a good ripe cantaloupe. Find tips in the blog post above.
  • Prosciutto: Prosciutto is Italian dry-cured ham. It gets cut into thin slices and tastes rather salty. You will want to get a good quality melt-in-mouth Italian prosciutto for this recipe. Make sure you get the Italian version and not the Spanish. They are both amazing but have different flavors.
 
Toppings / Garnish:
  • Herbs: Add some basil or mint leaves for some extra flavor if you want.
  • Balsamic: Drizzle balsamic vinegar or even better balsamic glaze over the melon
  • Honey: Drizzle some delicious quality honey over the dish. You should try flavored honey
