🍴Serving suggestions

Make the most of your delicious blackberry blueberry galette with these serving suggestions. Whether you want to keep it simple or get creative, we've got some tasty options for you to try.

  • Vanilla ice cream: Top the warm galette with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a deliciously creamy and cold contrast. Perfect for those hot summer days.
  • Powdered Sugar: Give the galette a light dusting of powdered sugar for a classic and elegant touch. This option is especially great if you want to keep the dessert light and not too sweet.
  • Butter: For an extra rich and indulgent flavor, add some butter to the filling or brush the dough with melted butter before baking. The buttery goodness will melt into the juicy fruit filling, creating a heavenly aroma and taste.

🥄Storage

To store the galette, allow it to cool completely before wrapping it tightly with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and placing it in the refrigerator. It will keep well for up to 3-4 days. To reheat, place in a 175°C (350°F) oven for 5-10 minutes until warm.

If you want to freeze the galette, wrap it tightly with plastic wrap and then aluminum foil, and it will last for up to 2-3 months. When ready to enjoy, thaw the galette in the refrigerator overnight and reheat in the oven at 180°C / 360°F for 10-15 minutes or until warmed through.
