Ingredients
- 1 pie dough choose your favorite recipe or store bought one
- 250 g Blueberries
- 250 g Blackberries
- 1-2 tbsp. sugar
- ½ lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. corn starch
- 1 tsp. rosemary chopped, (plus more for garnish)
- 1 tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. cane sugar
Instructions
Prepare the galette
- Add the blueberries, blackberries, sugar, lemon juice, corn starch and chopped up rosemary all to a medium bowl.250 g Blueberries, 250 g Blackberries, 1-2 tbsp. sugar, ½ lemon, 1 tbsp. corn starch, 1 tsp. rosemary
- Gently mix all the ingredients with each other.
- Cut your dough in half and roll each half out into a circle.1 pie dough
- Spoon the berry filling into the middle of the dough. Leave a boarder of 4-5cm (1.5-2 inches).
- Fold the edges of the dough over the filling. It's okay if the dough overlaps, that is how it is supposed to be.
- Brush the edges with some milk and sprinkle them with cane sugar.1 tbsp. milk, 1 tsp. cane sugar
- Let the galette rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Bake the galette
- Preheat the oven to 180°C / 360°F.
- Bake the galette for 30-35 minutes.
- Sprinkle some fresh rosemary over the warm galettes and let them cool for a bit. Then serve them. You can add some extra toppings if you wish so.1 tsp. rosemary
