🥣Equipment

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Kettle or Pot – To heat the water quickly. If you don’t have a kettle, just heat the water on the stovetop in a small pot or even in the microwave
  • Cutting Board & Knife: Needed to prepare the ingredients.
  • Mug: The best way to enjoy this tea is in your favorite mug.

📝The Ingredients

Each ingredient brings its own health benefits, making this tea as beneficial as it is delicious:

  • Ginger: Use organic ginger and leave the skin on. Known for its anti-inflammatory properties, fresh ginger adds warmth and can help with digestion, congestion, and sore throat relief.
  • Lemon: Use organic lemon as you will need the entire lemon slice, including skin. High in vitamin C, lemon boosts the immune system and adds a refreshing, citrusy acidity.
  • Fresh Sage Leaves: Sage has calming, anti-inflammatory effects that can help soothe a sore throat and adds a unique earthy aroma.
  • Honey: Sweetens the tea naturally while offering antibacterial and soothing properties for scratchy throats.
  • Water: The base for your tea. Use filtered water or tap water, if it is drinkable.
